Introduction

I have been practicing medicine in Antigua and Barbuda as a Licensed Medical Practitioner since 2008, and as a General Practitioner since 2009. My experience includes working as a House Officer at Holberton Hospital and Sir Lester Bird Mount Saint John Medical Center, after which I transitioned to working as a District Medical Officer providing medical services to the various community clinics throughout Antigua. Working as a District Medical Officer for 11 years, I attended to patients in the community, including health promotion and prevention, interview, treatment and follow-up care, managing chronically ill patients, also including home visits.

Since graduating from medical school, I have gained experience in Hospital, Private, and Community medicine, as well as teaching medical students and earning a graduate degree. I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology with Distinction, and a Masters degree in Endocrinology and Diabetes with Merit. The breadth of knowledge I have attained has helped me to provide high quality care to my patients.

I have opened my private practice, Quality Care Medical, as a means of offering a more personalized medical service to patients.
